EALING SCHOOLS TRAMPOLINE CHAMPIONSHIPS 2009
Following the (relatively limited) success of last
year’s Ealing Schools Trampoline Championships we are again going to
host a similar event on Friday October 16th at (Reynolds Sports Centre}
Acton High School.
Given our Ealing base, we would obviously like to
keep this as an Ealing Schools competition but we have already had some
approaches from local, non- Ealing Schools, and in the event, therefore,
of a very small Ealing Schools entry we will be opening the event up to
other West London schools.
The closing date will be September 26th (postmark date)
-
WARM UP TIME SCHEDULED FROM 12.30-1.15 P.M. (TEAM MANAGERS

-
JUDGES TO HAVE A
BRIEFING
SESSION AT THIS
TIME.
-

limited.
-
team managers to be responsible for their team's valuables and
behaviour.
-
TEAMS: Teams of FOUR girls/boys or mixed,
that are in their correct age group.
-
Age groups are as follows: Under 11, year 7 & 8, 9, 10/11 or Senior
(12/13)
-
Individual entries are also allowed
-
Each school/college will be allocated a seating area. Please ensure
that schools remain seated until they are called, to avoid
distracting the performer and judges.
-
On arrival please hand in your completed competitors sheets to the
marshals desk.
-
Each competitor needs to complete the sheet before arrival. If they
are repeating the compulsory routine they write
"SET ROUTINE'.
For others, it is important that their voluntary is written
correctly, with each touch of the bed on a new line, so that the
performer is not marked down for doing too many or less bounces. If
you cannot work out the tariff values don't worry, we will complete
on the day.
- Please do the usual safety checks for your teams (e.g. hair, jewellery, socks/gym shoes etc.)
-
Each competitor will perform the compulsory routine first. Once all
the competitors have been, they will perform their voluntary routine
in the same order. A separate warm up for this round will depend on
time, but it is more likely that we will go straight into this
round.
-
The judges and assistants will total the PERFORMANCE SCORES for the
compulsory and voluntary routines PLUS the VOLUNTARY TARIFF. The
THREE best results from the team of three or four will be added
together for the overall team result.
